Snow falling on the Pass of Drumochter, where the A9 trunk road to
Inverness crosses the central Scottish Highlands. Perhaps the
loneliest place on any major road in Britain. Picture taken from the
comfort of our car, through the open window as we parked in a lay-by.
I like the distant snowy slope, barely visible, disappearing into the
murk.
