Jasmine Kobayashi is an Analyst within the Department of Solar and Heliospheric Physics. Her work is centered on solar physics research using machine learning, digital signal processing, and other broader data analysis techniques. During her time at SwRI, Kobayashi has been gaining hands-on experience applying an indexing algorithm called iSAX to solar data for analysis and structure identification. The extent of application of such analyses has ranged from time-series data to mathematical spaces within deep learning models. Kobayashi holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and an M.S. in Data Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
