Greg is a Principal IT Specialist in the Computer and Software Sciences Group in the Solar System Science and Exploration Division of Southwest Research Institute. Starting with SwRI in 2025, he has been working on many IT initiatives like macOS builds/backups, Network Storage Administration, IT Backups, and organizing OS patch management with Qualys. Greg is primarily in charge of implementing CMMC Level 1 and Level 2 initiatives by 2027 with Jeff Stoner. Greg passed his Certified CMMC Professional exam in March 2026 after already holding a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) since 2019. Greg came to SwRI with over 25+ years of experience in OS support (Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX, HPUX), Storage support (Synology and NetApp), and IT security support in E-Commerce, Banking at IBM, Healthcare with Trizetto, and Critical Infrastructure Protection from Tristate Generation and Transmission.
