Courtney Peck is a Senior Computer Scientist in the Department of Solar and Heliospheric Physics in Division 19. She is currently supporting the Science Operation Center for the Polarimeter to Unify the Corona and Heliosphere (PUNCH) and the Joint EUV coronal Diagnostic Investigation (JEDI), as well as the ground processing algorithms for the Space Weather Solar Coronagraph (SwSCOR). Prior to joining SwRI, she was the Science Data Systems lead for the Total and Spectral Solar Irradiance Sensor 2 (TSIS-2). Dr. Peck’s research advances measurements and models of solar X-ray and extreme ultraviolet irradiance variability for studies of coronal heating and flare energetics. She earned a B.S. in Physics from Montana State University, and M.S. and PhD degrees in Physics from University of Colorado — Boulder.
