Brynna Downey joined SwRI in 2024 as a postdoctoral researcher. Her research is on the formation and tidal evolution of satellites in the solar system with a focus on the Moon, Callisto, and Titan. She will soon be joining the Lucy mission as part of the shape model reconstruction team. She holds a B.S. in Earth, Atmospheric & Planetary Science and in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Earth & Planetary Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
