Dr. Arpit Shrivastav is a postdoctoral researcher in the department of solar and heliospheric physics. His research focuses on MHD waves, coronal dynamics and solar wind by utilizing imaging, spectroscopic and in-situ observations as well as data driven modelling. He is a member of Solar Orbiter SPICE team in SwRI where he is currently investigating the origin of the solar wind in a range of coronal structures (e.g. coronal holes, helmet streamers, pseudostreamers, and active regions) by linking remote sensing and in-situ observations. He received his Bachelors (B.Sc.) and Masters (M.Sc.) from University of Delhi, India and his PhD from Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), India.
