Department Enjoys a Host of Summer Visitors

The Department of Space Studies has a year-round, active visiting scientist program. Long term visitors have included Michel Festou (1998-2000), Bill McKinnon (1998-1999), Hidekazu Tanaka (1999-2000), and Eric Buchlin (2000).

This summer, Geoff Crowley (SwRI, San Antonio), Michel Festou (OMP, Toulouse), Jon Lunine (LPL), Alessandro Morbidelli (Obs. Nice, France) and Roger Phillips (Washington U.) each made visits to the Department lasting a month or more in order to collaborate with staff researchers.
