SwRI^® Scientist Awarded the 2003 AAS-DPS Urey Prize

Dr. Robin Canup, the Department's Associate Director, has been chosen as the recipient of the 2003 Harold C. Urey Prize from the American Astronomical Society's Division of Planetary Sciences. The Urey Prize was established by the DPS to recognize and encourage outstanding achievements in planetary science by a young scientist. Dr. Canup was recognized for her work in satellite formation modeling, planetary rings, and planetary origins.
