Comparison with Europa and Ganymede. Fitted temperature contrast and spectrum slope are shown as a function of solar incidence, for a trench albedo of 0.45. The hatched pair of ribbons in each plot refer to trench depth D=0.25, the plain ribbons are for D=0.5. The left-hand member of each ibbon pair is for trench surface coverage X=0.15, the right-hand ribbon is for X=0.6. The width of the ribbon shows the range of variation in spectrum shape with emission angle, for emission angle values of 0o, and 30o on either side of the vertical. Also shown are the shapes of all on-planet IRIS spectra of Ganymede and Europa.
