Howdy. I used to be a senior scientist for the Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope project with Hughes STX at Goddard Space Flight Center ( NASA), in Greenbelt, Maryland near Washington, D.C. . Our most recent mission was Astro-2. As you can see here, launch was a religious experience as I watched form the payload control center.

I spent a lot of time in the excellent GSFC Library reading recent articles on topics such as involve multi-wavelength studies of massive stars (their formation and early evolution).
