HTML Escape Sequences

The following table shows the escape sequences that can be use in HTML documents. The syntax is to encase the number between ampersand-pound signs and a semicolon. E.g., the string ¥ produces the character ¥

Other special characters are:

For greek letters you can use their name with the case defined by the case of the first letter in the name...
Α = Α
α = α
Β = Β
β = β
Γ = Γ
γ = γ
Δ = Δ
δ = δ
μ = μ
π = π
...and so on...

See HTML doc tutorial page on escape sequences and special characters.
