• Oligarchic growth produces 4-5 cores of 10-15 Earth-masses in the Jupiter-Saturn zone.
  
  
• The innermost and outermost (+/- 1) start to accrete gas and open gaps.
  
  
• Waves generated at resonances shock gas between gas planets. Gas is removed.
  
  
• Jupiter-core-core-Saturn system stable for 700Myr.
  
  
• Cores (Uranus and Neptune) get scattered outwards.
  
  
• Interaction with trans-Saturniuan disk leads to
  • the Lunar Late-Heavy Bombardment.
  • Uranus and Neptune evolve to current orbits.
