Department of Space Studies Group Turns 10

The Department of Space Studies, which began as a three person operation in September 1994, and has since grown to 45 scientists, engineers, and support staff, celebrated 10 years in the Boulder scientific community with a scientific symposium and reception on September 14th, 2004. The Department's mission is to further space science research in the areas of planetary science, solar physics, and astronomy.
